Pentatonix Orlando reviews
Too Long For Too Little
Great concert! If we actually got to experience it fully... we didnt know they had a 40 minute opening act and got there pretty early to make sure we were settled in time for the 700 start for the concert. didnt see pentatonix until 810 after a 40 minute opening and a 30 minute break. none of the break had how long they would last announced so we just sat there expectantly thinking it would be only 5 minutes... throughout the concert there were 2 of these breaks with no time description on them so bathroom breaks were non existent for my group since we didnt know when it would start again. they also said happy holidays like they were wrapping up (didnt fully understand that whole announcement though) and walked off the stage so many people began leaving (although they could have just been trying to beat traffic) they came back 5 minutes later to finish their last 2 songs.
also, one of the singers had to sing from a remote location so we didnt even get the full experience or any warning until 15 minutes before they started but after the opening act. if given the opportunity to reschedule i wouldve chosen that instead. im not sure what they did for the people who paid extra to meet them if that was an option but i hope they gave them a refund or another time to meet them...
overall the actual pentatonix singing was great and the tv highlights were cool, but im only giving 3 stars because of the surprise opening act (which may be on me but the people right next to and in front of us also were not expecting this so i dont think it was in the description), the extra unannounced breaks with no warning on when they would start again, the missing singer (who was present on the tv but thats not the same), and the fact we spent 3.5 hours in there for maybe 2 hours of singing...
